Celebrating the mama-baby bond

If you’re looking for a small gift for a new mom, I’d like to suggest something I’ve had since my first daughter was a baby: the 2007 book Mama’s Milk by Michael Elsohn Ross. It’s a sweet story about the bond between different types of female mammals and their babies, and it ends with a list of health benefits and fun facts about breastfeeding. (Did you know that kangaroo milk is pink?)

Readers, do you have any other health-conscious gift ideas for this Mother’s Day?
