Alanna Shaikh talks about preparing for Alzheimer's

In a touching TED Talk posted earlier today, Alanna Shaikh shares stories of her father's struggle with Alzheimer's disease and explains how she is preparing herself to face the disease.

One particularly memorable quote from the talk:

I need a heart so pure that if it's stripped bare by dementia, it will survive.
