Read any great articles or books recently about science and its impact on society? Or tuned in to any incredible radio, TV or multimedia on same? The National Association of Science Writers is accepting entries for its annual Science in Society Awards. The awards are open to work published or broadcast in 2009. The deadline for submissions is February 1.
From the announcement I received yesterday:
These awards, which are not subsidized by any commercial or professional interest, honor and encourage outstanding investigative and interpretive reporting about the sciences and their impact on society.
Along with the recognition for their work, winners get $2,500.
