Cancer cases, mortality rates and sexually transmitted diseases on Google Public Data Explorer

Yesterday Google launched its new Public Data Explorer, which allows users to visualize data sets using its handy chart tools.

The project is currently part of Google Labs and has just 13 data sets, but among them are three that may be of interest to you: Sexually transmitted diseases in the U.S., Mortality in the U.S., and Cancer cases in the U.S..

Those data sets are powered by the CDC's WONDER platform. It looks like a promising project. And, of course, I say the more publicly available data sets, the merrier.
