In this TED Talk, Christina Meindertsma, author of Pig 05049, looks at the absolutely stunning range of products that are produced using parts from a pig. The video is short and really quite interesting throughout, but Scope readers might be particularly interested in her comments about injectable collagen (at about 5:39) and replacement heart valves (at 6:35).
