ScienceRoll's 2011 predictions for technology in medicine

Bertelan Mesko, MD, has offered his predictions on where technology in medicine will go in 2011, among them:

As the number of medical websites and the number of people searching for medical resources are both increasing, online medical content curation will become crucially important.

And:

Social media analytical services focusing on medicine and healthcare will rise.

The second prediction I've flagged was of particular interest, since I'm keenly aware of the challenge medicine presents to social media analytics and listening. And, finally, a thanks are due to Mesko for the shout-out to the medical school in his entry.
