Exciting news from Larry Chu, MD, the organizing chair of the Medicine 2.0 conference at Stanford this fall: Graduate School of Business Professor Jennifer Aaker, PhD, has been confirmed as the opening keynote speaker for the conference starting Sept. 17. Chu writes:

Dr. Aaker recently authored The Dragonfly Effect: Quick, Effective, Powerful Ways to Harness Social Media for Impact. She also spearheads 100K Cheeks, a campaign designed to promote bone marrow donation registration using social media. The Medicine 2.0 @ Stanford team will be working with Professor Aaker to organize a cheek swab event at the Medicine 2.0 Congress. We invite you to attend this exciting keynote and witness the power of how small acts can create infectious action first hand!
