Stanford Health Policy Symposium discusses the future of nursing

Earlier this month, a panel of nurses, physicians, researchers and policy-makers discussed the role of nurses in health care at a Stanford Health Policy Symposium. The symposium featured a presentation by John Rowe, MD, that focused on an Institutes of Medicine report detailing how nurses' responsibilities and education might evolve to improve patient care and meet increased demand in the United States.

This video of the symposium, which is above, was just made available this week. More information on the event and speakers can be found here.
