Better Know a Bioengineer: Stephen Quake

Over the next three Mondays, we'll be running a short video series I've (just now) decided to call "Better Know a Bioengineer." The videos, which were produced by the School of Engineering, are meant to profile the work of an individual bioengineering professor at Stanford. In this video, Stephen Quake, PhD, discusses, among other subjects, his work to create a rapid and inexpensive genome sequencer and what he learned looking at his own genome.

And, if you're curious why we're showing the videos here, the Department of Bioengineering is jointly supported by the Schools of Medicine and Engineering.

Previously: Stephen Quake has decoded his own genome, Stephen Quake talks about decoding his genome and Genomics gets personal
