Obesity Summit 2 videos available on YouTube

Last year, researchers, clinicians and academics from across the Stanford campus gathered for the Obesity Summit 2 to share their perspectives on the challenges and approaches to solutions for addressing the nation's obesity epidemic.

The daylong, free event showcased current and innovative obesity-related research at Stanford ranging in topic from basic science to clinical to community-based research. Several of the presentations and panel discussions from the summit are now available on the School of Medicine's YouTube channel.

In the above video, Neil Gesundheit, MD, associate professor of endocrinology, discusses the current treatment gap in the obesity epidemic and how a multidisciplinary approach can help patients be more successful in their weight-loss efforts.
