Ribosome translating mRNA into a polypeptide chain

mRNA (multicoloured strand) is decoded in a ribosome to produce an aminoacid chain, that folds into a protein (red). tRNA (dark violet) molecules carry single aminoacids that are incoporated into the growing chain.
