Pediatric patients on the Trick-or-Treat Trail

This afternoon Lucile Packard Children's Hospital hosted its annual Trick-or-Treat Trail. During the event, the hospital tweeted pictures of patients in costume as the children traveled from department to department participating in Halloween activities, such as face-painting and filling their bags with treats.

This photo shows Princess Lindsey Bingham alongside her brothers Gage and Hunter. Eight-year-old Lindsey and her four siblings all suffer from dilated cardiomyopathy or symptoms that can lead to the condition, and Lindsey is currently waiting for a heart transplant. You can read more about her family's extraordinary and emotional story in this recent Scope entry.
