Brian Eule discusses Match Day book

In this 1:2:1, Brian Eule talks about his new book, Match Day: One Day and One Dramatic Year in the Lives of Three New Doctors. Often referred to as the "NFL draft" for medical students, Match Day is an annual event that on the third Thursday of March.

On Match Day medical students receive their residency assignments, which are determined by a nonprofit organization, the National Resident Matching Program, using a computer algorithm to align the choices of applicants with those of the residency programs. In effect, the medical students learn where they will be spending the next three to seven years of their lives as medical residents in training.
