The creator of popular webcomic XKCD, Randall Munroe, shared several weeks ago that he's coping with a serious illness in his family, and his work has increasingly turned its attention to medicine and dealing with illness. Yesterday's comic followed a similar vein, offering a moving, personal affirmation of science. A snippet is above, but the whole comic is absolutely worth looking at.
