This is a cropped section of a plate from The Anatomy of the Arteries of the Human Body with its
Application to Pathology and Operative Surgery, which includes a series of lithographic drawings by Richard Quain, an English anatomist and surgeon. The book was published in 1844 and the drawings were made by Joseph Maclise.
